Yoga for Healthcare Personnel
and Patients

Yoga for Healthcare Personnel
I understand some of the pressures faced by NHS staff. Alongside patient referrals, I deliver online and in person wellbeing sessions for personnel, offering practical tools to reduce stress, improve resilience and support mental and physical health.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: Yoga offers far more than movement, it helps people feel calmer, stronger and more connected to themselves. (Please see the Research page on this website)
If you are looking for a trusted, gentle and effective option for your team, I would be delighted to support you through Circle-Yoga.

Yoga for Patients
If you are seeing a GP or a Social Prescriber or NHS Wellbeing Coach, you can be prescribed to yoga classes like mine.
I offer in person and online classes specifically designed for people who are managing stress, low mood, chronic pain, mobility challenges or long term health conditions.
My approach is calm, friendly and inclusive. Circle-Yoga provides a safe, supportive space for patients who may feel anxious about joining a traditional class or who need a slower, more compassionate approach. Movements are adapted for all abilities and no previous experience is required.
NEWS UPDATE FOR DUNSTABLE
I am pleased to invite you to take part in a new program called Supported Movement for Health and Relaxation, starting this summer at the new Health Hub in Dunstable.
You don't need a referral to attend, simply contact me via this website or book your spot.
These gentle sessions have been specially commissioned by the Social Prescribing Team to support people who may benefit from improving their balance, confidence, mobility, wellbeing and relaxation in a safe and welcoming environment.
The classes will begin on:
Friday 4th September 2026 1.00pm – 2.00pm for 6 Fridays finishing 9th October 2026
Cost:
£5 per session, all sessions are booked in blocks
6 week block @ £5 per session = £30
Payment in advance using this website
Location:
The Health Hub, Dunstable
(The room is fully accessible for wheelchair users.)
What to expect:
These are not gym-style exercise classes. You do not need to be fit, flexible or have any previous experience.
The sessions are gentle, supportive and suitable for people who may feel anxious about exercise or uncomfortable in a traditional gym environment. Everything is done at your own pace and there is never any pressure to do more than feels right for you.
Most of the movement is carried out while seated in a chair, with options offered throughout the class. The focus is on helping you feel comfortable, relaxed and supported.
People often find that mindful movement can help with:
• Balance and stability
• Gentle strength and mobility
• Stiffness and aches
• Stress and anxiety
• Relaxation and sleep
• Breathing and body awareness
• Confidence and overall wellbeing
Please wear whatever feels comfortable to you. There is no special clothing or equipment needed.
Each session will include:
• 45 minutes of gentle mindful movement
• 15 minutes for conversation and connection
At times, members of the Social Prescribing Team may join the group to hear how participants are finding the classes and to offer support.
Contact me to discuss either patient referrals or to discuss classes for yourself or your team as healthcare personnel.
